Description
Space, performance and reliability combine in the shape of this Skoda Superb estate. This has been my own personal car for the past two years. Registered in October 2014, this is the limited edition Black Edition, although it is confusingly finished in white with black alloys and a black leather interior. Powered by the 2.0 litre VAG engine through a 6-speed manual gearbox, the car costs just £35 to tax for the year. The Superb was a company car for the first 8 years of its life, and it covered plenty of miles but with plenty of maintenance. Since purchasing it, I have used the car for private hire work. Hence the total mileage of 285,000, which will increase as it's still in daily use. However, don't be put off by the mileage because, as a working car, if it's needed anything it's had it. I change the oil every 8,000 miles or so, because I don't believe in long-life oil changes. The cam belt was changed most recently at 238,000 miles, and it's just had a new ABS sensor and rear tyres. The boot is simply huge, and it's got a DAB radio fitted. The car is good condition all round, apart from some stone chips to the front and rear bumpers from loading and mileage.
