Mg MGB Roadster for £24,995

Description
1973 MGB Roadster. Tartan Red with Black Leather Piped with White. 1967 saw a variety of factory upgrades to the MGB sufficient to define what is known now as the MK II MGB model. These included - Synchromesh on all 4 gears along with revised ratios, a new rear axle, an alternator replaced the old dynamo along with a change to a negative earth system and standardised reclining seats (as seen on this example) Originally supplied to California (hence the three windscreen wipers) where it remained for some 37 years before being purchased by a Danish collector (believed to be a Mr J Buech) in 2010. Soon afterwards he sent the vehicle to Byrne Motor Trust (BMT) a renowned restoration workshop. BMT carried out what can only be described as a nut and bolt restoration spanning over the next 2 years, billing some 2,809 hours of labour, and extensive new parts list supplied by reputable UK dealers. The result - a lovingly renewed classic MGB that would satisfy any inspection. In 2014 upon completion of its restoration this MGB was returned to Denmark where it stayed in a private museum until being purchased by DD Classics of London in 2015. The car has since enjoyed light use including entries into Concours competitions. During its restoration at BMT it was fitted with upgraded (telescopic) rear suspension, upgraded front roll bar, a new duck hood and tonneau, a beautiful wooden Motolita steering wheel and new chrome wire wheels. The most recent owner purchased the car in 2016 when it entered his private collection and has remained in a beautiful indoor heated private display up until this time. The accompanying history file contains a large amount of bills and invoices detailing the parts and labour of the rebuild as well as photographs of the process. This MG must be one of the very finest MGB roadsters available. A unique opportunity to benefit from an extraordinary money no object restoration undertaking. Absolutely any inspection welcomed. All major debit and credit cards accepted. Part exchange considered. Free U.K mainland delivery. Please contact us for any further information. Lots more pictures and a video on our website and Facebook pages. Usual dealer facilities including secure storage and transport solutions for import / export.
