Land Rover Series III 109 Soft Top for £19,995

Released from the MOD in 2003 and sold by Witham Specialist Vehicle to its first civilian keeper with a very 19,700 miles recorded. This 109 (LWB) Series 3 Land Rover was in service with 70 (Yeomanry) Signal Squadron as a “Radio Rebroadcast” vehicle. The mileage at 33,000 is believed correct based on the MoT History, and the reality that vehicles used by the TA had a pretty easy life, but unfortunately given the vehicles age it is not warranted. Fitted with a 2.3 Litre petrol engine this Series 3 starts on the button and drives extremely well. Acquired by its most recent local keeper in 2016 for restoration he has had the Land Rover stripped and re-finished in period correct Limestone. The Hard top has been removed and replaced with a well fitted Olive canvas tilt. The is a fair amount of history with the vehicle including some photographs prior to its restoration / conversion.
