We recently purchased this very practical Ford Focus Zetec estate from a dealer in Loughborough where it was taken in part exchange and road tested it over 30 miles back to our base in Weldon. The car drove very well, it started first time from cold, the 118 BHP engine sounded healthy and it pulled well in all 6 gears. The gear changes felt smooth and the clutch bites at the correct position with no slipping. The Ford sat at 70mph on the dual carriageway happily and handled the back roads just as well! The black cloth interior is in great condition showing minimal signs of wear, the cabin smells nice and all electrics worked as they should including the bluetooth, dab radio, parking sensors and air con which blew cold. The Ford would make a brilliant family car as it's spacious inside and is cheap to run, costing £0 per year in road tax, it's in the group 14 insurance bracket and returns fantastic mpg of over 74 miles combined. Service history is included with four stamps in the booklet including one done by ourselves at 81232 miles. We have also Mot'd the car and put it through our 47 point safety check which came back from the garage with a clean bill of health.
