Mazda’s 2 has had a difficult time competing with less practical and traditional small cars. The practical design of the car has proved to be little competition for the less traditional and more radical designs of competitors. The car is reliable and delivers predictable performance.


The Mazda2 is considered conservative even compared to the rest of the Mazda range.than the rest of the Mazda range. The car’s interior design however is Nevertheless the exterior is presentable and also practical. This can be a good thing though as more trendy cars tend to age with accelerated speed compared to the more conservative and practical designs.

The Mazda2 provides exceptional interior space for its class. The high roofline makes it particularly suitable for tall passengers who would otherwise struggle to fit into such a small car. The car can hold a fairly large load as well. With rear seats folded, carrying capacity is greatly increased.


The Mazda 2 drives well but was not designed for performance. Steering and pedal feedback is acceptable, but the quality of the ride is really good. The smallest engine being offered is also the most satisfying to drive.
