The Maserati Coupe exterior style has mellowed some and the Coupe now sports a Ferrari-derived V8 engine. Despite enhancements to the car designed to improve drivability the Coupe is rather flawed.

What the Coupe lacks in drivability it makes up for in overall character and appeal. The car’s interior design is very inviting and comfortable. The cabin provides a very classy look and feel.

The Maserati offers some practicality in the fact that it is a four seater. The rear seats are actually functional and can transport passengers in reasonable comfort.

The Coupe is well equipped and the V8 powerplant is more than competent. It delivers 390bhp and sounds excellent. Many buyers may feel uncomfortable pushing the car to its full potential, and it’s enough just to know what the Coupe can deliver without putting it to the test.

The Coupe wasn’t designed to be a full blown sports car and has managed to deliver exceptional performance and also a very comfortable ride. The car’s switchable traction control system helps to keep the engine tamed while cruising along.

The Maserati Coupe was designed with practicality in mind. The Coupe not only comfortably seats four adults; it also boasts a decent sized boot. Luggage, shopping or other sizable objects easily fit into the car’s boot.
