The new design of the Commander takes some getting used to but the vehicle has serious potential both on and off the road. With its increased seating capacity the Commander will be attractive to a more diverse group of buyers.

The Commander’s cabin is spacious and comes with seven seats, instantly making it a reasonable alternative to other traditional family MPV’s. The Commander's off-road ability has been comparable to that of a Land Rover Discovery or Toyota Land Cruiser. It is easy to spot the Commander’s improvements and enhancements no matter what terrain is being conquered.

Jeep provides a genuinely impressive standard package including many comfort items. The Commander also offers many upgrades but with each additional upgrade the purchase price increases significantly.
