Volkswagen UP for £17,995

Description
This VW Type 2 Crew Cab is Left Hand Drive, Manufactured by VW in 1976 and first registered with the Dutch Military service in the Netherlands. Upon receiving the vehicle from the VW factory, The Dutch military decided to commission it as a mechanics vehicle and made several modifications before putting into active service, These included installing 2 rifle holders in the front cab, Metal Clips around all windows and headlights for black out sheets when used in military operations and Tailgate rear light cut outs so it could be driven legally on the road whilst the flat bed area was being used as a mechanics mobile workshop., The vehicle was then imported to the UK on 17/05/1989 along with another Military Crew Cab used as an Electricians vehicle. Ive been told that vehicle was used around the North East and more specifically Darlington for a number of years before being sold to a local VW Collector/ restorer called Keith Bingham. I bought the vehicle from Keith on the 13/09/2006 and began restoring the vehicle into how it looks today. The majority of the work was carried out by myself and my Dad who was a time served panel beater/ welder with 35 years experience in the motor trade., I finished the restoration in time for my own wedding on 31/10/2009 and began using the vehicle for family holidays and day trips. I then decided to set a small wedding business up with the vehicle on 18/05/2012 and did a handful of weddings across the North East up until 31/05/2017 when I decided to close the business for personal reasons. The vehicle has always been garaged since I bought it in 2006 and is in fantastic condition and mechanically sound. I have all receipts and photos from the restoration and log book and MOT service history documents, 3 FORMER KEEPERS
