Developed alongside the Lotus Elise S2 but with a totally different character, The Vauxhall VX220 was produced from 2000 with the introduction of the blisteringly quick Turbo from 2003. Only 1940 turbos were built until production ended in 2005 and the car, quite rightly, has achieved full classic status with prices forecast to rise accordingly. Our car, finished in Silver metallic, is of the highest quality and has been enjoyed by just 3 owners (the 2nd owner from 2004 to 2022) and has covered just 14,000 miles. From new, the car was ordered with black leather sports seats and a Blaupunkt Radio/CD player. Optional extras ordered at the time were floor mats, passenger foot rest and the dash brace. In 2006, when the mileage was just 10,000, the previous long term owner/enthusiast entrusted Thorney Motorsport to make the car a real drivers car.
