Vauxhall Cavalier for £7,995

Description
1986 Vauxhall Cavalier 1.8i Convertible. Anthracite metallic with Grey Twill sport cloth upholstery. This delightfully nostalgic Vauxhall Cavalier Mk2 Convertible is a genuine example factory converted from new by German Coachbuilder Voll under the Hammond and Thiede brand. One of only 1, 283 UK supplied cars and 2, 873 produced in total, this is a is a rare survivor indeed. The paintwork boasts a deep lustre and belies its age. A new quality hood and rear screen have been fitted and remain in perfect order, and the original tonneau is present. This original example even retains supplying dealer branded number plates. Hugely nostalgic, this is the perfect retro open-top family tourer. Registered new by Vauxhall Main Dealers, J & G Bland (Motors) Ltd of Haverfordwest on the 20th August 1986, this excellent example has covered just 57, 000 miles from new. A new car sales invoice in the history file made out to first owner, Mr J V Grossey, illustrates the purchase price of £11, 446.47 less a part exchange allowance for a 1984 Vauxhall Astra 1200 3-door. The huge history file includes the full book pack with stamped service book as well as all handbooks including the original Cavalier Convertible supplement. A further history folder contains a huge collection of receipts, Vauxhall main dealer invoices and MOT certificates dating back throughout the cars lifetime to fully verify the mileage and evidence devoted upkeep. Running and driving just as well as it looks this is a very rare sight on our roads and a great talking point at any show or rally. This well preserved and unmolested Cavalier is a credit to its former keepers and offers capable, practical and comfortable retro motoring, a guaranteed hit at any classic event. Absolutely any inspection welcome. All major debit and credit cards accepted. Part exchange considered. Free U.K mainland delivery. Please contact us for any further information.
