Description
In stock with us at RFH Classics is this 1967 (F) MGB 1.8 Roadster finished in stunning Tartan Red complete with Wire Wheels and a Black Leather interior that is piped in Red. The previous owner purchased the car over 18 years ago but has taken the reluctant decision to sell after recently acquiring a camper van and not finding time to enjoy both. This beautiful car has been the subject of an older extensive restoration with excellent panel gaps and clearly been very well looked after. When I collected the car from the previous owner he told me the car had never been out in the rain over the past 18 years and looking at you can see that to be true. As part of our preparation the paintwork has professionally detailed and has a lovely deep shine. The chrome work, as you can see in the pictures, is also in excellent condition and is finished off by the addition of the boot rack fitted, perfect for Sunday afternoon picnic. This car features the detachable hood that appears to be virtually new and for daily use there is a full tonneau cover for cabin protection., Internally the trim is Black Leather with a complimenting Red Piping and the seat, like the rest of the cabin, are in exceptional condition, As the car has the detachable roof there is space behind the seats should you have a small dog you would like to take out with you. Under the bonnet the engine bay is probably one of the best we have recently seen and the 1800cc engine paired to a 4 speed manual gearbox with Overdrive is running lead free. Start tit up and the oil pressure is excellent both cold and hot and it drives very well. In the office we have a file containing the photographic record of the restoration along with a large selection of invoices for work undertaken over the year. In our opinion if you are after MGB then you are going to search for a long time to find a nicer example for the money. ??, RFH Classics are Bedfordshires largest independent Classic Car Dealer with over 30 + years experience
