Mini One
Mini One
The Mini One provides a firm ride but handles well. The One’s light steering makes it easy to maneuver through traffic and crowded parking lots. The Mini does shake a little in the convertible when the top is down. Otherwise the Mini provides a satisfactory ride and is a fun car to drive.

The Mini One is not a good family car. Seating is limited and the boot is much too small to accommodate family type items. The One would make a fun second car for a family though; even if it is not likely to accommodate the entire family at the same time.

The One would be a fun first car. It is likely to be too expensive for most first time buyers though and may pose problems for novice drivers when parking. The Mini is easy enough to drive, but is not a likely first car.

The Mini One delivers an excellent quality of materials similar to the quality found in BMW’s. There have been some reliability issues reported with the One, but none of the issues are related to the convertible top mechanism.

Car Reviews
Mini One
Review Summary
The entry-level 1.6 16v engine provides excellent fuel economy even when worked hard. The Mini One must be pushed hard due to the excess weight from reinforcing the car’s body.

The Mini One does not come standard with air conditioning or a CD player so buyers will definitely need to select a few cost-options. The One may not be fast or powerful but it does provide an economical and fun ride.
