The Honda CR-V would make an outstanding family vehicle. It is plenty spacious enough and has a sizeable boot. It faired rather well in the Euro NCAP crash tests and is a safe car for carting around the kids.
The Honda CR-V is not a good choice for those looking for there first. It is too expensive and is too large for what most new drivers need.
