Renault Megane
Renault Megane
The Renault Megane comes with a low asking price, low insurance rates, and low servicing charges. To get decent fuel economy, you should opt for one of the diesel engines. The Megane will be an inexpensive car to run.

The Renault Megane cabin is spacious and offers enough room for up to four adults. In the front, head and legroom are plentiful and passengers should be comfortable. The rear however is more limited when it comes to legroom. The boot is large and has a low loading lip. The rear seats fold down, making more room for carrying larger items.

The Megane’s controls are clear and concise. They are logically located as the driver doesn’t need to search for them. The climate and audio controls are small but are functional and easy to use.

Both Renault Megane front and rear passengers will experience a smooth and comfortable ride. The seats are wide and supportive and help to facilitate comfort. The suspension does an excellent job of delivering a crisp response and effectively deals with road imperfections.

Access to the cabin for all passengers is easy. The car doesn’t sit too low and the seats are wide. Another contributing factor to the ease of accessing the cabin is the large door apertures. The boot is just as easy to access as the hatch is light and the load lip is low.

Although reverse parking is easy due to the stacked design of the tail lights, opting for parking sensors may be a good idea. Pulling forward into a parking space may be a bit trickier because judging distances is slightly difficult.

Renault Megane
Renault Megane
The Renault Megane 1.9-litre dCi 130bhp found in the Megane Sports Tourer delivers a combination of economy, refinement and performance. This engine provides a relaxed drive. The Megane's suspension is supple and the car’s steering feels remote.

The Renault Megane would make a very good family car. It boasts high levels of refinement, practicality and spaciousness, and would easily accommodate a small family. The spacious boot will certainly come in handy.

The Megane would make a decent first car. It’s easy to drive and includes plenty of safety features. The Megane should enjoy low running costs. Parking is the most difficult part of owning the Megane.

The Megane has improved in quality, and boasts a significant amount of style and flair. The car reflect’s well on Renault’s image.
