 Suzuki Swift - Practicality 3/5
Suzuki Swift
Suzuki Swift
The Swift is inexpensive both to buy and run. In addition to the cheap asking price, the car boasts inexpensive insurance rates and good fuel economy. Resale value will not be as high as some would hope.

The Suzuki Swift cabin supplies passengers with enough space but not much extra. Legroom is limited in the rear and front passengers may feel like they should have more. Headroom is throughout however. The boot is dismayingly small, capable of accommodating only a few small items.

The Suzuki Swift guages are all clear and concise. The dials and knobs all have a weighty, quality feel. Although some are much nicer than others. The only downside to the cabin is that the steering wheel doesn’t adjust for rake.

The Swift boasts one of the most comfortable rides of its class. The comfortable, supportive seats make even the longest of jouneys at least bearable. The car does a remarkable job of eliminating road and wind noise from the cabin.

Accessing the cabin in very simple for front seat pasengers. Rear occupants will have a much harder time entering the vehicle. The rear door is oddly shaped with very little room near the bottom. Accessing the boot is not as difficult. It opens wide to allow for unrestricted access.

Parking the Swift is easy. The curved bonnet does make judging distances a bit difficult, but light, accurate steering makes up for this. Reverse parking is made easier by great rear visibility.
