 Nissan Patrol - Practicality 4.5/5
Nissan Patrol
Nissan Patrol
The Patrol is an expensive purchase, and will be costly to run. The car’s fuel economy is good for a car in this class but will be expensive in daily use. Insurance rates will be fairly high as well. The fact that Nissan’s tend to be very reliable is reassuring.

The Nissan Patrol spacious cabin can seat up to seven comfortably. The two rear seats can be folded to increase boot space and increases cargo carrying capacity significantly.

The Nissan Patrol control’s and dials are easy to use and functional. Everything is laid out in a clear and practical manner. The car also comes with an easy to use sat-nav system. The quality of the controls is very good.

Cabin space is good and the seats are supportive and comfortable. The leather covering the seats gives the cabin a quality feel. The seats are heated and come in handy during cold winter months.

This is a tall vehicle and will require passengers to step up into the vehicle. This could make access difficult for some despite the car’s side steps. The doors open plenty wide enough, but the vehicle’s floors are high and make access even more difficult for the less limber passengers.

Parking the Patrol can be a real challenge. The car’s limited rear visibility can making parking difficult. Rear parking sensors are available as a cost option but are necessary to confidently park the Patrol.
