Mazda Mazda2 - Life Style

Mazda’s 2 lacks the pep that the rest of the line enjoys. Performance is middle of the road and doesn’t seem to have been high on the priority list. The car provides little feedback to the driver, and delivers a ride geared more toward comfort than driver appeal. This hatch will have difficulty competing with others that offer so much more in the way of a sporty ride.

The Mazda2 is not actually a family car. It could transport a small family around decently, but would not accommodate a large or growing family well. It could be used as a second car to a family or a communter car.

This would make a great first car. The problem is it lacks the appeal to attract the younger car buyers. It isn’t fast and it isn’t sporty looking making it an unlikely choice for most first time buyers.

Mazda itself has a decent image and enjoys a loyal following. Unfortunately the Mazda 2 will not do much to bring credibility to the company’s image. Other previous models have brought more favorable results.
