 Maserati Quattroporte - Practicality 3.5/5
Maserati Quattroporte
Maserati Quattroporte
The Quattroporte is an expensive car both to buy and maintain. A high insurance grouping and poor fuel economy will cause up-keep costs to be quite high. The asking price is high enough, but the options list can be tempting.

The lengthy Maserati Quattroporte provides more than sufficient space to all passengers both front and rear. Four adults will fit comfortably inside with room to spare. The boot is spacious enough able to carry a few large items such as luggage. Head and legroom are plentiful so even the tallest of passengers will not complain.

The instrumentation is all logically placed and is practical. The gauges are easily read as they are large and in the driver’s line of sight. The switchgear is of high quality and has a quality feel. The audio controls are placed high on the fascia and are clearly labeled.

The Maserati Quattroporte front seat passengers will be the most comfortable. The seats are fully adjustable and are supportive and firm, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. Move to the rear and you will see much of the same comfort. Head and legroom are still plentiful but the seats adjust less. You can opt for heated, massaging seats for both the front and rear seats.

Getting into the Quattroporte is a bit more difficult. The seats sit low and passengers will have to stoop a bit to get in. The rear seats are slightly lower than those in the front, but they are significantly wider, making them easier to access than what you might initially think.

The Quattroporte is extremely large. With such a wide and long stance, you will want to opt for parking sensors. Visibility is decent, the turning circle is tight, steering is precise and light, but despite all of this, the dimensions of the car can get the better of even the most experienced.
