 Honda CR-V - Practicality 3.5/5
Honda CR-V
Honda CR-V
The Honda CR-V is an expensive vehicle, but it does provide excellent value for money. Both engine options provide decent fuel economy, and the company’s reputation for quality built cars helps to ensure a high resale value. Insurance and maintenance should be reasonably low too.

The CR-V comfortably holds four adult passengers with good legroom. Taller passengers may be slightly uncomfortable due to limited headroom. The car’s boot is very generous and accommodates most packages without any problem.

The Honda CR-V main controls and dials are simple to read and easy to use. The controls all are large with a nice quality feel to them, and the car’s backlighting is easy on the eyes and practical.

Engine and road noise are kept to a minimal increasing the comfort levels in the cabin. The seats are comfortable and supportive. Rear seats are a little less comfortable but it’s slightly noticeable.

There is a slight step up when accessing the car’s cabin and it may pose a problem for the elderly or otherwise physically disabled. Large doors open wide for easy access and egress into the cabin for most passengers. The tailgate also opens wide for easy access to the boot area.

The CR-V can be a little tricky to park. Its long body might be difficult for some drivers to judge distance properly. The drive position is high and that helps some, but buyers might want to play it safe and opt for the parking sensors as a cost option.
