TVR Sagaris
|
|
Review Summary
|
|
The Sagaris offers 380bhp and is a supercar by any standard. Insurance and running costs will be high but the car is being offered for a very reasonable price for a car in this class and with so much performance on offer. Other than the disappointing level of safety and security being offered, the TVR Sagaris provides a very fast ride with excellent handling.

TVR Sagaris Car Review
|
TVR Sagaris
The Sagaris’ exterior design is bold and unique. The car’s body sports a number of cooling ducts that TVR claims are fully functional. The car’s front splitter and rear diffuser are distinctive and add to the car’s funky exterior design.
The TVR is not designed for racing on the road, but the car is fast and racing models will likely follow. Aside from the cooling ducts the car also has two raised spots in the top to make room for drivers and passengers wearing racing helmets.
The Sagaris provides improved grip and stability over its predecessor. The car is powered by a 400bhp straight six engine. It can reach 0-60mph in three seconds, and boasts a maximum speed of 195mph.
The sporty little TVR offers good value for the money and its performance will be hard to match. This is not a car for the faint-hearted. The Sagaris provides an involving and exciting ride. Driving enthusiasts will be hard pressed to find a ride that is more fun or faster.
The Sagaris is lightweight and sturdy. Many name brand competitors will have a hard time competing with the Sagaris’ power, but the Sagaris may have a difficult time competing against more premium brands.

TVR Sagaris
The Sagaris is an expensive car to purchase, but when compared to rival brands the Sagaris looks fairly reasonable given the equipment and performance on offer. Insurance rates and fuel economy will be high.
The Sagaris is not big on space. Passengers have ample room to ride but that is about it. The car was not designed to be a cargo carrier or people carrier. It was designed for speed and delivering a good driving experience. The car only provides two seats.
The TVR Sagaris controls and dials are functional and sturdy. They appear to be of a good quality and feel. The cabin looks the part of a sports car and delivers an excellent and sporty atmosphere. The cabin provides an overall high class feel.
The Sagaris delivers a decent amount of comfort. This isn’t a luxury car by any means, but the seats are supportive and comfortable for the most part. Buyers will be more concerned with the car’s performance than comfort or practicality.
Accessibility is one area where the Sagaris could score better. Passengers must climb down into the seats. Once in though, the seats are comfortable. Egressing requires the same amount of effort only backwards.
Parking the TVR Sagaris can be difficult mostly due to the low seating position. The low drive position limits visibility and can make parking a little difficult. It is also difficult to judge the car’s extremities and care should be taken when reverse parking

TVR Sagaris
The Sagaris provides an excellent, fast, fun and exciting driving experience. The car looks great and handles well. The car is fast enough to take to the tracks and stylish and refined enough to cruise around town.
This isn’t a family car in any sense of the word. Children will not fit well in the car’s seats. Limited cabin and boot space make it unsuitable to perform any family duties. It could be used as a third car for a family just to have around for fun.
The Sagaris is definitely not a good first car. It is too expensive and would be impossible for a new driver to insure. There is too much power on hand for a novice driver and parking can be tricky.
The TVR Sagaris has a great image; it’s fast and beautifully designed. The Sagaris boasts a better build quality than previous TVR’s and comes with a decent warranty. This will help to boost the firm’s reputation for poor build quality and reliability.
Security and Safety
|
|
|
The Sagaris is an awesome sportscar, and will attract a lot of attention. The car will need a comprehensive security system to keep it safe; unfortunately, the car’s security kit is very lacking. The car comes equipped with an alarm and an engine immobilizer. This is not likely to be enough security for the Sagaris.
The TVR Sagaris safety kit is very lacking. The car comes equipped with a roll-cage and seatbelts. This clearly isn’t enough safety kit given the car’s performance capabilities.

The Finishing Touches
|
|
|
The TVR Sagaris standard audio system includes a radio and CD player. The standard unit provides good sound quality.
The Sagaris’ interior is of good quality. The car comes standard with leather seats and electric windows. If buyers want air conditioning or a sat-nav system they are available as expensive cost-options. Metallic paint is also available as an expensive cost option as well.
