Skoda Yeti Car Reviews

Skoda Yeti Overview
The Skoda Yeti mixes the lofty perch of a Sport Utility Vehicle with the environmental footprint and practicality of a hatchback. It comes with either front-wheel or four-wheel-drive, although Skoda expects the majority of UK buyers to opt for two-wheel drive variants.
Four-wheel drive Yetis are powered by three versions of the 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine with 108bhp, 138bhp and 168bhp, plus a 158bhp 1.8 TSI petrol unit. The 108bhp 2.0 TDI engine - which is expected to be the best seller - is also available in two-wheel drive versions, along with a lively new 103bhp 1.2 TSI unit.
Background
The Skoda Yeti is a small/medium 4x4 which arrived to the market in 2009 so the Yeti is still a very fresh creation. It was created in an attempt on Skoda’s part to enter the huge 4x4 market and has been received well, achieving the Family Car of the Year title in the Top Gear Magazine as well as being placed in highly in the 2010 European Car of the Year awards.
The Yeti is still in its first generation and is available with four trim levels to the UK market: the E, S, SE and Elegance trim levels.
Summary
The Yeti is a very practical car which offers the benefits and perks of both a hatchback and a 4x4. It has received many good reviews and has done for a reason, it does everything it claims to do and does it well.
