Kia’s latest Sedona is completely new and offers increased sophistication and comfort while giving buyers strong value for money. Already well respected in the MPV sector, Kia is pushing to broaden its market even further with this Sedona. The Sedona has been vastly improved in all areas and modernized so that it can compete with rival brands.

The Sedona seats seven people comfortably. The exterior style has been improved and boasts sharper lines and has an overall more attractive exterior design. The car’s twin sliding doors have been well designed to compliment the shape of the vehicle.

The Kia Sedona has been designed for passenger comfort. The use of seven individual seats perpetuates an atmosphere of comfort by allowing each seat to adjust individually for comfort. Seats can be adjusted or removed to create a larger load area. Seats can be arranged to create a variety of seating arrangements and cargo carrying capacity.

The Kia Sedona offers several improved engines choices. The 2.7-litre V6 petrol engine gained 40bhp over the previous 2.5-litre engine, and the 2.9-litre diesel gained 40bhp due to the car’s revised injection system. The Sedona has truly been enhanced from the inside out.

The Kia Sedona has a very reasonable purchase price. Add in the low running costs and buyers get great value for the money. The diesel variant adds to the savings.

The Sedona is very spacious and and provides adequate passenger space for seven. Head and legroom are very good and each seat has the ability to slide forward or back. The five rear seats can be folded down or removed in order to increase cargo carrying capacity.

The controls in the Sedona are well laid out and clear; the controls are mounted high on the dashboard and logically grouped together. The displays are large and easy to read.

The Sedona was designed for high levels of comfort. Each individual seat is designed to enhance passenger comfort. The ride quality is very good, and wind noise is kept to a minimum. Each seat has the ability to recline maximizing individualized comfort even more. Air conditioning controls in the rear ensure good all around comfort.

Access to the Sedona is excellent for all passengers front, rear, or for passengers accessing the very back seats. Front seat occupants can slide easily in through the vehicle’s front doors, while those in the second row step in through the wide opening sliding doors. Rear seat occupants must first fold the second row seat to gain access, but this is simple and not problematic.

The Kia Sedona is a large vehicle but visibility is good, and parking shouldn’t pose much of a problem. Parking sensors are standard issue on all but the base GS model. The power steering and decent turning circle also help drivers park the Sedona with relative ease.

Buyers who purchase the Kia Sedona are more than likely going to be concerned with the car’s comfort level more than the car’s performance level. The Sedona delivers on comfort and doesn’t drive too shabbily either. The 2.9-litre diesel engine delivers impressive acceleration and comfortable cruising, and provides plenty of power for the large vehicle. The Sedona is easy to drive, with good steering and excellent brakes.

The Sedona was designed with families in mind. The car provides everything a family might need. High levels of comfort, plenty of all around room, and a great deal of versatility. Options such as a DVD entertainment system for the rear will come as a welcome addition to the vehicles already high level of family comfort.

This vehicle would not make an ideal first car. Even if you could afford it, it is probably too large for novice drivers. The car is easy ti drive though and shouldn’t pose any major problems for even newly licensed drivers.

The Sedona is priced to appeal to budget minded buyers. Even with a budget price tag the quality throughout the car is of a good standard. The materials inside are actually decent, and the majority of the car’s controls function very well. Sedona's has a good image based on the company’s dedication to providing car buyers excellent value for money, but the improvements in the standard of quality and style are becoming much more apparent.

The Kia Sedona comes standard with an engine immobiliser and remote central locking. A security alarm is not included in the package.

Safety has not been overlooked in the Kia Sedona. The car comes standard with six airbags, Isofix child seat mountings on two of the centre seats. TS models and above also benefit from ESP. All models have been enhanced and come standard with bigger brakes than the previous model, as well as ABS.

The Kia Sedona comes equipped with a standard stereo unit. The unit is a JVC-sourced CD/tuner, with large easy to use controls. The unit is MP3 and CD compatibile and it also has the option of an Apple iPod connector. The system provides good sound quality.

The cabin of the Sedona is comprised of mostly light grey and gives the cabin a light, airy feel. Most of the trim is of good quality.
