The Honda Jazz is not the least expensive car being offered in the super mini segment, but it does have high residual values. Servicing and parts tend to be higher than some minis but the Jazz is not prone to breaking down or malfunctioning. It is economic on fuel and usually gets 50mpg on the combined cycle. That will be very beneficial with the unpredictable prices of fuel. Insurance is inexpensive for most drivers, including new and young drivers under the age of 25.
The spacious interior is really surprising. There is a lot of room for both the driver and the front passenger, with easy entry for most passengers through the large doors. The back seat has a little less room but easily accommodates most passengers less than six feet tall. Entry to the back is a little more limited due to the smaller doors. The rear compartment offers convenience and comes in handy in transporting various cargos.
The controls are large enough for easy handling and manipulation. The stereo is simple yet functional. One of the main enhancements includes a backlit instrument that is triggered once the remote central locking device is activated.
This car provides a smooth ride and minimizes many of the unpleasantries commonly associated with smaller cars. The car is elevated and has large front doors to allow easy access to and from the front seats. The abundance of windows and effortless steering allow the driver to park the car quite easily.

The 1.4 litre i-DSi engine purrs under the hood as you whiz up and down the city streets. This experience is enhanced further due to Honda’s extremely responsive handling. Although the car handles well most of the time, it does not handle well during strong winds on the highway.

All models of the Honda Jazz include an RDS stereo CD tuner, four speakers are included in the 1.4 litre models and only two speakers are included in the 1.2 litre model. The speakers are adequate and produce a good sound quality as long as they are not turned all the way up. The ability to adjust the volume is made more convenient by steering-wheel mounted sound controls. No more searching for the right knob while trying to drive.
The Jazz comes with black interior trim and a leather steering-wheel. The leather steering-wheel adds to the driver’s comfort and compliments the sporty look and feel of the car. Two of the most popular colors for the Jazz are ‘Vivid Blue Pearl’ and ‘Milano Red’.
